Assistant Community Manager (The Morgan)

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Morgan community. This position involves handling accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing, and using property‑management software to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Generate monthly close‑out and financial reports; process invoices and payables.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite property‑management software, entering data accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Submit vendor and contractor invoices for approval, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Follow established eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings, and manage resident move‑out processes.

Required profile

• Ability to support the Community Manager in daily financial operations.
• Experience with property‑management software, preferably Yardi or OneSite.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple financial tasks accurately.
