Assistant Community Manager – The Lodges at English Station

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Lodges community. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting tasks, rent collection, invoicing, and ensures accurate financial reporting using property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and process invoices and payables.
• Generate monthly close‑out and financial reports.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering data accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Review and code vendor invoices, obtain Community Manager approval, and coordinate payments.
• Follow eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings, and manage resident move‑outs.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and bookkeeping experience, preferably in residential property settings.
• Familiarity with property‑management software such as Yardi or OneSite.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents and vendors.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established financial and legal procedures.
