Assistant Community Manager – The Brownstones

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational activities of The Brownstones at Englewood South. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting, rent collection, vendor invoicing, and ensures accurate reporting using property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Generate monthly close‑out financial reports and process invoices and payables.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering data accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Review, code, and submit vendor invoices for payment, coordinating with accounting and ownership.
• Follow established eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings, and manage resident move‑out processes.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial transactions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Understanding of lease agreements, eviction processes, and property‑management best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
