Assistant Community Manager – Ridgescape

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Ridgescape community. This position handles accounting, rent collection, invoicing, and reporting using property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and process month‑end close‑out.
• Generate financial reports and process vendor invoices, coding them to the appropriate chart of accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, ensuring accurate data entry and system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Handle eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation.
• Process resident move‑outs, reviewing lease terms and applying appropriate charges.

Required profile

• Experience with property‑management accounting or related financial functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and owners.
• Ability to follow established policies and legal requirements for evictions and collections.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
• Fundamental accounting and bookkeeping skills.
