Assistant Community Manager – Range West

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for its Range West community in Saginaw. The role supports the Community Manager in overseeing daily financial and operational activities, ensuring accurate accounting, timely rent collection, and smooth vendor interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate Greystar’s property management software (Yardi/OneSite) to record transactions, generate reports, and maintain data integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, obtain approvals, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate payments.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation when needed.
• Handle resident move‑out processes, applying lease terms, deposit refunds, and related fees.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures, especially regarding evictions and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
