Assistant Community Manager – Mercato Grove

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of Mercato Grove, a new 206‑unit mid‑rise community in downtown Lake Oswego. This position ensures accurate accounting, timely rent collection, and smooth day‑to‑day financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect rent, fees, and other payments and post transactions in the property management system.
• Process invoices, prepare monthly close‑out reports, and generate financial statements.
• Perform bank deposits, account reconciliations, and cash dispositions.
• Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial analysis for the community.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial activities using the designated software.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the Community Manager and other team members.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Experience with property management software for financial tracking.
