Assistant Community Manager – Luxury Property

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a luxury residential community. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing and ensures accurate financial reporting using property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices and payables, code charges to the appropriate chart of accounts, and coordinate with vendors and contractors.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering transactions accurately and maintaining system integrity through regular updates and backups.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents about delinquencies, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Prepare monthly close‑out reports, financial statements and other required reports for ownership.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and representation in court hearings.
• Handle resident move‑out processes, including lease term review, deposit calculations and final accounting.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in property‑management accounting or related financial administration.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures, especially regarding evictions and financial controls.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
