Assistant Community Manager (Lease Up)

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager (Lease Up) will work closely with the Community Manager to support the financial and operational performance of the Broadstone Amelia community. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting, rent collection, invoicing and ensures accurate reporting using property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process vendor invoices, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and obtain Community Manager approval.
• Generate monthly close‑out and financial reports, and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering transactions, updating records and performing system backups.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents on delinquencies, and enforce lease terms to protect revenue.
• Assist with eviction procedures, court representation and resident move‑out processing, including deposit and lease cancellation fees.

Required profile

• Ability to support the Community Manager in financial and operational tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in accounting processes.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors and owners.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property‑management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property‑management software.
