Assistant Community Manager (Las Vegas)

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational functions of a residential community. This includes handling accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close‑out reports, processing invoices, collecting rent and fees, and maintaining accurate records in the property management system.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and process invoices and payables.
• Operate the property management software (Yardi/OneSite), entering data accurately and performing system backups.
• Review resident files and accounting records to identify unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Review and submit vendor invoices, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate communication among vendors, accounting, and owners.
• Follow established eviction procedures, provide notice, represent the community in court hearings, and manage resident move‑outs, including lease termination fees and deposit processing.

Required profile

• Experience with community or property management accounting tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of lease enforcement and eviction processes.
• Attention to detail for accurate data entry and financial reconciliation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
