Assistant Community Manager – High‑Rise Property

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Ascher, a high‑rise residential community in Charlotte, NC. This position handles daily accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing, and ensures accurate financial reporting using property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Generate monthly close‑out and financial reports; process vendor invoices and code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite property‑management software, entering data accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and representation in court hearings.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial transactions.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and owners.
• Knowledge of standard accounting practices and ability to reconcile bank statements.
