Assistant Community Manager – Harbor Park

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Harbor Park community. This role handles accounting, rent collection, invoicing, and reporting to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices and payables, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and obtain manager approval.
• Operate property management software (Yardi/OneSite), entering data accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Prepare monthly close‑out financial reports and other required financial statements.
• Review resident files for delinquent balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Manage vendor invoices, coordinate with contractors, and follow established eviction procedures.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of related experience in property management or affordable housing.
• Tax credit experience preferred.
• Prior experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager within affordable housing communities is highly preferred.
• Eligibility for incentive‑based bonuses.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping competencies.
