Assistant Community Manager – Greater St. Louis, MO

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a residential community in the Greater St. Louis area. The role involves handling daily accounting tasks, rent collection, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and process month‑end close‑out.
• Generate financial reports and process invoices and payables.
• Operate Greystar’s property management software (Yardi/OneSite) to record transactions and maintain data integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Review and submit vendor invoices, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Follow eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings, and manage resident move‑out processes.

Required profile

• Experience supporting community or property management financial operations.
• Ability to work with residents, vendors, and internal teams to resolve payment issues.
• Attention to detail in accounting and record‑keeping.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
