About the role
Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of its mResidences community in Portland. You will work closely with the Community Manager to ensure financial accuracy, resident satisfaction, and smooth property operations.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits.
- Process invoices, vendor payments, and monthly financial close‑out reports.
- Maintain accurate records in the property management software, including reconciliations and account dispositions.
- Assist leasing teams with virtual and in‑person tours for prospective residents.
- Handle resident move‑out procedures, reviewing lease terms and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Respond promptly to resident inquiries, concerns, and service requests.
- Collaborate with on‑site and marketing teams to organize safe, socially‑distanced resident events.
Required profile
- Experience in community or property management, preferably in multifamily housing.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to exceed resident expectations.
- Attention to detail with solid accounting and bookkeeping fundamentals.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and handle multiple tasks.
