Assistant Community Manager for Landsby Community

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the day-to-day financial and operational activities of the Landsby community, a stabilized mid-rise property of 632 units. Based in Mountain View, California, this full-time position works Sunday through Thursday and offers a 20 % housing discount.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including monthly close-out and preparation of financial reports.
• Process invoices, collect rent, fees and other payments, and handle bank deposits and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records in the property-management software, tracking all financial transactions for the community.
• Assist with budgeting, expense monitoring and financial analysis to support community operations.
• Collaborate with the Community Manager and other departments to ensure smooth operational flow.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in property-management accounting or a similar large-scale community environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software for financial tracking.
