Assistant Community Manager – Encore Metro

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Encore Metro at Millenia community. This position involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and process month‑end close‑out reports.
• Enter and update transactions in the property management software (Yardi/OneSite) while maintaining data integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents about delinquencies, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Review, code, and submit vendor invoices for payment, coordinating with the Community Manager and owners.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice compliance and representation in court hearings.
• Process resident move‑outs, ensuring proper accounting and documentation.

Required profile

• Experience with residential property accounting or bookkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks accurately.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to follow established policies and legal requirements related to evictions and collections.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
