Assistant Community Manager – Cascades at Southern Hills

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Cascades at Southern Hills community. This role handles daily accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing, and ensures accurate financial reporting using property management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering transactions accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Submit vendor invoices for payment, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Follow eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings, and manage resident move‑out processes.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented individual who can support the Community Manager in financial and operational tasks.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi/OneSite property management software.
