Assistant Community Manager - Campus View (Student Living)

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Campus View student living community. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting, rent collection, invoicing, and ensures accurate financial reporting using property management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering transactions accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, obtain approvals, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Follow established eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings when required.
• Manage resident move‑out processes, including lease term reviews, deposit applications, and fee assessments.

Required profile

• Experience or interest in property‑management accounting and bookkeeping.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Attention to detail for accurate financial record‑keeping and reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property‑management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property‑management software.
