Assistant Community Manager – Brickyard at Barbers Hills

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational performance of the Brickyard at Barbers Hills community. This position handles daily accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing, and ensures accurate financial reporting using property management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering transactions accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, obtain approvals, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation when needed.
• Handle resident move‑outs, applying lease terms, deposit refunds, and related fees.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Basic understanding of property management and real‑estate operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property management software.
