Assistant Community Manager – Beach Street Landing

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Beach Street Landing community. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience with property‑management software, rent collection, and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite property‑management software, ensuring accurate data entry, updates, and system backups.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, obtain approvals, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation.
• Handle resident move‑outs, applying lease terms, deposit deductions, and cancellation fees as needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established financial procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
