Assistant Community Manager – Avant at Steele Creek

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Avant at Steele Creek community. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience in property management, accounting, and resident relations within a leading global real‑estate platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and owners.
• Operate Greystar’s property‑management software (Yardi/OneSite) to record transactions, generate financial reports, and maintain data integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents on delinquencies, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice compliance and representation in court hearings.
• Handle resident move‑out processes, including lease term review, deposit calculations, and fee assessments.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic understanding of property‑management operations and leasing processes.

• Proficiency with Yardi property‑management software.
