Assistant Community Manager – Ascend at Forum

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager at the Ascend at Forum property. The role focuses on the financial and operational aspects of the community, ensuring accurate accounting, timely rent collection, and smooth vendor interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite property management software, entering transactions accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, obtain approvals, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation when needed.
• Handle resident move‑out processes, applying lease terms, deposits, and any applicable fees.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented individual with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Comfortable working with financial data and adhering to established procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Yardi or OneSite property management software.
