About the role
Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in the daily financial and operational management of an Albuquerque residential community. This position will handle rent collection, invoicing, bank deposits, and financial reporting while ensuring accurate use of the property management software.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
- Process invoices and payables, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and obtain Community Manager approval.
- Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering data accurately and performing system backups.
- Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
- Coordinate vendor invoices, reconcile work performed, and manage communication between vendors, accounting, and property owners.
- Follow established eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings, and handle resident move‑out processes, including deposit and fee assessments.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow established policies.
- Basic understanding of residential leasing and eviction processes.
