Assistant Buyer – Entry Level

About the role

The Assistant Buyer supports the Buying team in day‑to‑day activities, gaining exposure to the full buying cycle and its links with Production, Planning and Distribution. This entry‑level position offers a fast‑track learning environment within a leading fashion brand.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and analyse data to help shape seasonal strategies and financial targets.
• Attend pre‑season meetings with Buying and Planning, create and update assortment sheets, and communicate changes to business partners.
• Participate in line‑edit meetings, review sales performance, and identify sales trends.
• Join Open‑to‑Buy (OTB) and forecast discussions to understand key financial concepts.
• Visit stores to develop knowledge of the customer base and gather feedback for management.
• Contribute to weekly cross‑functional meetings and collaborate with Buying, Planning, Inventory Control and Distribution teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience or internship experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in fashion trends.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
