About the role

The Asset & Wealth Management Tax Director will lead strategic tax planning and compliance for asset and wealth management clients. Reporting within PwC's Tax practice, the role combines client advisory, business development, and mentorship of junior staff while upholding PwC’s reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic tax planning and compliance initiatives for asset and wealth management clients.
• Oversee preparation and filing of complex tax returns, ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Analyze financial data to identify tax optimisation opportunities and mitigate compliance risks.
• Develop and implement innovative tax strategies that support business growth and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in tax compliance and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
• Drive thought leadership by creating new ideas and solutions in tax compliance.
• Maintain executive‑level client relationships to enhance service delivery.
• Promote technological advancements to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency.
• Identify market gaps and convert opportunities into successful outcomes for the firm.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, Bar membership, or other tax/finance‑specific credentials.
