Asset Management Data Analyst II

About the role

Cleco is seeking an experienced Asset Management Data Analyst II to integrate plant operational and commercial data into business processes. The role focuses on optimizing generation asset performance through analytics, data visualization, and collaboration with multiple internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Accelerate development and implementation of data analytics to support business decision‑making.
• Gather, analyze, and report operational and commercial data to identify trends and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Analyze time‑series data to detect anomalies, optimize equipment performance, and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with generation plant teams to define asset health metrics and predictive‑maintenance KPIs.
• Support data‑quality initiatives ensuring accurate, reliable, and consistent time‑series data.
• Design and maintain data workflows and pipelines that integrate operational and business data.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analytics within an energy or generation environment.
• Deep understanding of time‑series data, data governance, and data integrity strategies.
• Ability to work across Asset Management, Generation Operations, Corporate Data Analytics, and IT teams.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
