Assembly & Test Technician I – 1st Shift

About the role

Moog is seeking an Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician I for its Military Aircraft Group. The position is on‑site in East Aurora, NY, working the first shift to assemble, test, and rework hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro‑mechanical components.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations on valves, actuators, and systems using mechanical and electrical measuring instruments.
• Execute high‑reliability soldering and crimping on complex sub‑assemblies.
• Interpret drawings, worksheets, and parts lists to build and repair units.
• Conduct diagnostic rework on units that fail test requirements.
• Operate hydraulic stands for assembly functions and follow defined testing procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred) with ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• At least 1 year of related technical experience.
• Eligibility to enroll in the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program as required for safety‑sensitive work.
