Assembly Technician – 1st Shift

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Assembly Technician for the 1st shift at our Mebane, NC facility. This entry‑level position focuses on basic assembly tasks, supporting manufacturing operations under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly operations and manual tasks on the production line.
• Load, position, and secure parts for assembly.
• Operate the black‑oxide line and conduct hardness checks on incoming parts.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Assist senior technicians with routine tasks and packaging.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 years of experience; no prior assembly experience required.
• Ability to follow instructions, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• US citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Basic manual assembly techniques.
• Familiarity with machining or cutting operations (preferred).
• Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing principles (preferred).
