Assembly and Test Production Supervisor – Performance Leader

About the role

Moog Military Aircraft Group is seeking an Assembly and Test Production Supervisor (Performance Leader) to lead a production team in Torrance, CA. The role focuses on driving performance through data‑driven decision making, lean processes, and strong people leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and measure short‑ and long‑term team objectives aligned with corporate strategy.
• Ensure maximum utilization of personnel and equipment to meet production schedules and cost targets.
• Recruit, evaluate and develop talent; manage employee relations, counseling, discipline and performance feedback.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and enforce housekeeping standards.
• Accurately track employee time and administer personnel policies consistently.
• Optimize equipment capacity by matching workload to department capability.
• Lead Tier I and Tier II meetings, support process adherence and monitor functional process metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience supervising assembly and test operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and performance‑management skills.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Ability to handle employee relations issues proactively.
