Assembler – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the role

Enovis is seeking a Production Assembler to join its Vista Manufacturing Center. You will assemble knee braces and related orthopedic medical products, following detailed written procedures and ensuring each item meets quality and specification standards.

Key responsibilities

• Use power tools, hand tools, and universal fixtures to assemble knee braces and related products.
• Handle materials up to 50 lb, stand for extended periods, and work in hot or cold environments.
• Sand surfaces, prepare and mix paint, and cut materials according to guidelines.
• Participate in manufacturing audits and the 5S continuous‑improvement program.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Provide overtime and Saturday coverage as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and bills of materials.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to work flexible hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
• Experience reading technical drawings and bills of materials.
• Basic assembly techniques for medical devices.
• Sanding, paint preparation, and material cutting.
• Familiarity with 5S methodology and manufacturing audits.
