Assembler – Manufacturing – Alachua, FL

About the role

Join Sandvik’s Alachua, FL facility as an Assembler, building high‑quality drilling rigs used worldwide. You will work on the shop floor assembling large, heavy components and ensuring they meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble large and heavy components using hand and power tools.
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, and checklists to guarantee accuracy.
• Perform hydraulic connections and secure parts with proper fasteners.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Planning teams.

Required profile

• Authorized to work in the U.S. on an indefinite basis without sponsorship.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Positive attitude, strong attendance, and willingness to work overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift items over 50 lb.
• Must pass required PPE, audiogram, lift test, and physical exam.

Required skills

• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand tools.
• Proficiency with power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and bills of materials.
• Experience with hydraulic connections.
