Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Data Engineering SME Support

About the role

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Engineering Subject Matter Expert to support the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)). The role operates within the OUSW(I&S) Innovation and Data team, delivering actionable AI and data solutions for senior defense leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop performance reports, strategic assessments, decisional papers, and action memos for senior leadership.
• Produce deliverables such as CATMS task responses, executive summaries of AI forums, proposals for advanced analytics, predictive modeling applications, and requirements documentation.
• Collaborate with OUSW(I&S) and CDAO on congressional responses and memos for the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security.
• Map organizational activities, business processes, governance structures, and workflows to design and deploy AI tools that integrate intelligence data across the DoW Intelligence Community.
• Conduct mission analysis and risk assessments to inform resource planning and align PPBE products with AI timelines.

Required profile

• Active Top Secret SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 15 years of experience in military, government, civilian, or contractor roles related to the Department of War.
• Proven ability to work in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments and engage senior leaders.
