About the role
The Area Vice President – Sales will lead and grow a high‑performing sales organization across a defined geographic region for Konica Minolta. Reporting to regional leadership, the role is responsible for delivering revenue, pipeline, and forecast targets while shaping a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Directors to meet area‑level sales, pipeline, activity, and forecast goals.
- Drive disciplined sales execution through opportunity strategy, territory planning, competitive positioning, and customer engagement.
- Ensure strong pipeline health, accurate forecasting, and consistent adoption of sales methodologies, CRM, and performance management processes.
- Attract, hire, and develop high‑performing sales leaders, conducting regular performance reviews and targeted development plans.
- Build an inclusive, high‑performance sales culture focused on accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement.
- Support Sales Directors in cultivating customer relationships, advancing major opportunities, and maintaining deep awareness of competitive trends.
- Review and manage forecasted revenue streams on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual intervals.
- Analyze area performance to identify opportunities for productivity gains and market penetration.
- Maintain operational sales discipline through consistent reporting, territory optimization, and quota alignment.
Required profile
- 7+ years of progressive sales experience with a proven track record of leading high‑performing sales teams.
- Experience in office technology, managed services, software, or related B2B industries preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- Ability to travel within the assigned area and thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
