Area Therapy Advancement Manager – Frontier Region

About the role

The Area Therapy Advancement Manager (ATAM) leads the Therapy Advancement field team across the Frontier Region, developing and executing marketing strategies for Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology products. This role partners with sales, education, health economics and strategic customer groups to expand patient access to cardiac catheter ablation and related therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, develop and retain Regional Therapy Advancement Managers, providing performance management and succession planning.
• Identify priority accounts, set commercial goals and align plans with Area Vice President and National Therapy Advancement Director.
• Engage hospital leadership to advocate for electrophysiology programs and accelerate access to care.
• Increase awareness of atrial fibrillation treatments among physicians, administrators and referral networks.
• Collaborate with field sales teams and maintain communication with RTAMs and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including 4+ years in sales and marketing within the medical device industry.
• People‑leadership experience with strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including overnights and weekends, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong consultative relationship‑building skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
