Area Coordinator – Housing Operations (Live‑in)

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking an Area Coordinator to manage day‑to‑day operations of its residence halls and university apartments. This live‑in position ensures smooth housing services for students, staff, and visitors while maintaining accurate occupancy data.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of all residence halls and university apartments.
• Serve as the functional user for StarRez Housing Management Software, overseeing assignments, occupancy records, room inventories, and key management.
• Process housing applications, room changes, cancellations, and contract updates through StarRez.
• Generate occupancy, utilization, and operational reports to support departmental planning.
• Assist with housing selection, room assignments, and transition processes for new and returning students.
• Coordinate opening, closing, and break‑housing periods, including routine room inspections and event preparations.

Required profile

• Experience in residential or property management, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and live on‑site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with StarRez Housing Management Software.
