Architectural Designer & Project Coordinator (Full‑Time)

About the role

Heights Venture is looking for a dynamic Architectural Designer and Project Coordinator to join our fast‑paced Houston team. The role combines design development with project coordination responsibilities in a full‑time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop project documents while coordinating with the project supervisor.
• Lead day‑to‑day project activities, including scheduling, team interfacing, and personnel allocation.
• Create and present design concepts and visualisations.
• Research building codes, zoning guidelines, and gather data for each project phase.
• Prepare construction documents and ensure technical accuracy and compliance with office standards.
• Maintain project schedules, update files, and keep the team informed of issues.
• Complete competency checklists and manage workload for self and assigned interns.

Required profile

• Accredited degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (highly preferred).
• Strong skills in AutoCAD.
• Experience with SketchUp.
• Familiarity with Enscape or other architectural rendering software (a plus).
