Architect – Integrated Design Solutions

About the role

As an Architect at Foster + Partners, you will contribute to imaginative, integrated design solutions across a wide range of projects. You will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary studio that values technical rigour, creativity, and thoughtful design to enhance the built environment and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop drawings, models, images and other design documentation that support project delivery.
• Take ownership of specific design areas and contribute meaningfully to project development.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external design teams to coordinate project information.
• Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) and lifelong learning.
• Support the studio’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Required profile

• Confidence in understanding, formulating and presenting design decisions.
• Proactive, self‑motivated approach with strong initiative.
• Flexible, open mindset and commitment to lifelong learning.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to undertake architectural responsibilities to a professional standard.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
