Architect II – Mid-Level Design Role

About the role
StudioMB is seeking a motivated Architect II to join its dynamic design team in Washington, DC. This mid‑level position offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of mixed‑use, civic, and residential projects from concept through construction administration.
Key responsibilities
- Develop design concepts, schematic plans, and construction documents for a variety of projects.
- Produce high‑quality graphics, renderings, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate detailing, digital modeling, and digital fabrication efforts.
- Support construction administration and respond to design‑related queries on site.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure sustainable design solutions.
Required profile
- 2–4 years of professional architectural experience.
- Detail‑oriented, efficient, and able to adapt to shifting deadlines.
- Strong critical and creative thinking, with a collaborative team mindset.
- Architectural registration preferred but not mandatory.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to relocate to Washington, DC.
