Architect – Hospitality Market Sector

About the role

BRPH is seeking an Architect to join its Orlando office and support the Hospitality Market Sector. The role involves contributing to a variety of architectural projects, from design development to construction administration, while collaborating with senior staff and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform architectural assignments using standard techniques, under the supervision of a licensed Architect.
• Develop design and calculation tasks, applying architectural fundamentals and adjusting data as needed.
• Assist in preparing reports, specifications, plans, schedules, cost estimates, and permits.
• Create detailed CAD drawings and produce final construction documents.
• Research code issues, interpret regulations, and present findings.
• Visit construction sites to monitor progress, report on status, and perform administration duties.
• Mentor junior staff and review their work for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary drawings and specifications.
• Support design budgeting, marketing proposals, and client communications.

Required profile

• Professional architectural experience applying standard techniques and procedures.
• General understanding of construction methods and constructability.
• Ability to work independently while receiving guidance from senior architects.
• Capability to mentor and check work of junior team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam.
• Advanced AutoCAD and Revit skills.
• Experience using architectural rendering software and building‑energy analysis tools.
• Knowledge of sustainable/green design strategies.
• CAD drafting expertise.
