Architect / Designer – Los Angeles

About the role

Tighe Architecture is seeking a talented Architect/Designer to join its Los Angeles studio. This full‑time position offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio that includes commercial, mixed‑use, affordable housing, public works, parks, and residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts from programming through construction documentation.
• Produce schematic, design development and space‑planning drawings.
• Create presentations, material selections and specifications for each project phase.
• Coordinate FF&E selections, color palettes, lighting and renderings.
• Collaborate with external consultants, product representatives and fabricators.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited school.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience, preferably with Los Angeles building standards.
• Ability to work onsite in the L.A. office and legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Strong graphic and visualization abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Rhino.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam.
• Proficiency in Enscape.
• Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
