Applied AI Engineer

About the role

As an Applied AI Engineer on Rillet's AI & ML team you will design and ship production AI systems that transform finance and accounting workflows. You will work at the intersection of large language models, ERP processes, and structured financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Own AI features end‑to‑end, from agentic system design to scalable production infrastructure.
• Build evaluation frameworks and experimentation loops to turn promising models into reliable, production‑grade systems.
• Partner directly with product and domain experts to push the frontier of AI inside an ERP.

Required profile

• 3+ years in a technical role with a strong foundation in machine learning and data analysis or backend systems.
• 2+ years shipping production AI systems used by real users with high stakes.
• Hands‑on experience with production LLM applications, including agentic systems and evaluation pipelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience building end‑to‑end AI features across the full stack.
