About the role
Sandvik Mining and Construction USA is seeking an Application Specialist to develop, integrate, and implement custom Maximo Service Platform solutions, ensuring seamless integration with the company’s ERP systems and supporting the aftermarket business for mining equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, integrate and implement custom Maximo Service Platform and ensure full ERP integration.
- Customize Maximo applications using automation scripting, database configuration, Application Designer, Conditional Expression Manager, escalations, workflow design, migration manager, E2E integration and Java customization.
- Oversee upgrade activities, testing and go‑live implementations.
- Link technical work products to Sandvik equipment data for digital access by service technicians.
- Lead integration activities for software updates and new implementations.
- Provide demonstrations and training to customers and end‑users.
- Act as Solution Test lead, performing technical analysis, troubleshooting and development.
- Serve as first point of contact for global service platform queries and drive improvements for the Americas region.
- Lead digitalization initiatives, conduct business application evaluations and gather requirements for new product offerings.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum three years of experience as a Business Process Specialist or Service Operations Business Process & Systems Specialist.
- Hands‑on experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Maximo development, implementation, testing and end‑user training.
- Ability to travel up to 25 % domestically and internationally.
- Willingness to telecommute within the continental United States.
