Application Developer

About the role

Mano Lani LLC is seeking an enthusiastic Application Developer to join a diverse team supporting the Department of Defense. The role focuses on the full software development lifecycle for over 25 custom DTMO applications and up to two new projects each year, using DevSecOps and the Risk Management Framework in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and sustain both front‑end and back‑end components of DTMO applications.
• Maintain and enhance the public‑facing DTMO website, WCMS, and allowance calculators.
• Participate in requirements gathering, create wireframes and mock‑ups, and ensure UI compliance with Section 508.
• Provide technical support for Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) and APIs.
• Document code and technical environment to facilitate maintenance and knowledge transfer.
• Perform application modernization and technology refresh aligned with DoW cloud standards.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated professional able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience in agile development and familiarity with DevSecOps and RMF processes.
• Understanding of Section 508 accessibility requirements and U.S. Web Design Standards.
