Application Developer

About the role

Spaghetti Bridge, a private‑equity backed group of specialist schools in the UK, is looking for an experienced Application Developer to design, build and support critical internal systems that drive operational efficiency and digital innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain internal software applications.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, scalable code and manage the full software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, debug and enhance existing applications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to devise technical solutions to business challenges.
• Support database development, reporting and data analysis.
• Contribute to regular software releases within an agile environment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other team members.

Required profile

• Strong experience with JavaScript and modern development practices.
• Proficiency in SQL/PSQL and database design or data modelling.
• Knowledge of application development using C#.NET, Delphi, VB or low‑code platforms.
• Experience building commercial or enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to gather requirements and design solutions collaboratively.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
