Application Developer 2 (OutSystems) – Remote

About the role

Sono Bello is seeking an Application Developer 2 to own and deliver small to medium OutSystems low‑code solutions from design through production. This fully remote position supports the nation‑wide cosmetic surgery practice, enabling personalized body‑transformation services through reliable, secure applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of OutSystems Reactive Web applications and workflow automation components in Service Studio.
• Break down work, estimate effort, and drive features to delivery.
• Conduct thorough reviews for clarity, maintainability, and correctness, raising testing and documentation standards.
• Support production solutions, lead incident triage using execution history, logs, and telemetry, and document findings.
• Participate in incident reviews to reduce repeat issues and improve error handling, alerts, and resilience.
• Apply solution architecture principles, mentor junior developers, and enhance observability, reliability, security, and privacy baselines.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to shape solutions, highlight risks, and propose pragmatic alternatives.
• Contribute to design documents, review adjacent solutions, and champion documentation quality.
• Identify and deliver refactors that reduce toil, improve performance, and increase reuse across low‑code solutions.
• Engage in daily stand‑ups and core team ceremonies, communicating status and risks early.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience developing low‑code applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills for documentation, reviews, and collaboration.
