Appliance Delivery Helper

About the role

As an Appliance Delivery Helper you will support the delivery, installation, repair and haul‑away of large appliances and consumer electronics for customers. Working as a Deliver Experience Cadet, you will ensure a smooth, safe, and professional experience from the moment the truck arrives to the final placement of the product.

Key responsibilities

• Attend appointments individually or lead a two‑person crew, handling basic‑complexity installations and repairs.
• Determine the optimal way to bring major appliances into homes, measuring routes, protecting floors and walls, and deciding if doors or fixtures need to be removed.
• Remove and reinstall doors, panels, and other obstacles as required.
• Provide customers with advice on product placement, service options, and related content.
• Manage inventory, vehicle upkeep, paperwork, and payment processing in coordination with store teams.
• Perform in‑store repairs when needed.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of experience in customer service, sales, installation, or large‑product delivery.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record meeting Best Buy safety standards.
• Ability to lift 350 lb individually or 700 lb as a team using appropriate tools.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Willingness to obtain any required state or local licensing within 90 days of hire.
