Apartment Maintenance Technician – Full‑Time

About the role

Join the maintenance team at 21 South at Parkview Apartments, a community of 264 homes in Baton Rouge. You will perform hands‑on repairs and upkeep to ensure apartments are ready for new residents and that the property stays in top condition.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Prepare units between residents (make‑readies).
• Perform painting, staining, and light carpentry.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and exterior repairs.
• Provide occasional on‑call coverage for the property.
• Support housing inspections and safety protocols.

Required profile

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience.
• At least 6 months of apartment‑maintenance experience.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair skills.
• HVAC repair experience with EPA certification.
• Pool experience and CPO certification preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving and customer‑service mindset.
• Willingness to complete basic safety training within 30 days.
• Hands‑on skills demo required during interview.
