Apartment Maintenance Technician – Full-Time

About the role

Join the maintenance team at 21 South at Parkview Apartments, a community of 264 homes in Baton Rouge. You will keep the property running smoothly by handling work orders, preparing units for new residents, and performing routine repairs.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Prepare vacant units (make‑readies) for new occupants.
• Perform painting, staining, light carpentry, and exterior repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Provide occasional on‑call coverage for emergency issues.
• Support housing inspections and safety protocol compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of general maintenance experience.
• At least 6 months of apartment‑maintenance experience.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair abilities.
• HVAC repair experience with EPA certification.
• Pool experience and CPO certification preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving and customer‑service mindset.
• Willingness to complete basic safety training within 30 days.
