About the role
The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville is seeking two qualified Animal Care Technicians to join its research environment. This full‑time, day‑shift position supports the university’s extensive animal research programs and contributes to a vibrant academic community.
Key responsibilities
- Provide routine care and monitoring for animals used in research projects.
- Maintain clean and safe animal housing facilities.
- Record health, behavior, and experimental data accurately.
- Assist researchers with animal handling and experimental procedures.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and federal animal welfare regulations.
Required profile
- Relevant education or experience in animal science, biology, veterinary technology, or a related field.
- Ability to work responsibly in a laboratory setting.
- Strong attention to detail and record‑keeping.
