Android Software Engineer

About the role

Join T-Mobile’s flagship mobile experience team to design, develop, and deliver high‑quality Android features for the T‑Life app, reaching millions of users. You will work on AI‑enabled functionalities and help shape the future of our consumer‑facing mobile platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android application features using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern architectural patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and AI‑powered backend services to enable personalized and intelligent user workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, Backend, and AI teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance mobile solutions.
• Write maintainable, testable, and scalable code; participate in code reviews and contribute to unit and UI testing.
• Create clear documentation for code, system designs, and business requirements.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and release processes using Git, Gradle, and Fastlane.
• Monitor application performance and reliability across Android devices and OS versions.
• Propose improvements based on technical research and platform best practices.

Required profile

• 2–4+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Experience contributing to consumer‑facing Android applications.
