Android Developer – Mobile Software Engineer

About the role

Prolaio is seeking a talented Mobile Software Engineer to strengthen its Android development team. You will build and maintain a mobile application that connects to medical devices, collects patient data, and supports advanced analytics for precision cardiology.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
• Integrate state‑of‑the‑art algorithms and RESTful APIs from backend services.
• Optimize app performance for efficiency, reusability, and responsiveness across diverse devices.
• Write unit tests and UI automation tests with Espresso, UI Automator, JUnit, and Appium.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Android or Mobile Software Engineer.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
